A fellow blogger and Regent classmate of mine named Lindsey Christmas is passionate about helping others. She formed a group called Serenity Self Defense that is dedicated to teaching women how to defend themselves against attackers. She also often blogs about different websites and organizations that raise money for those in need. Her most recent blog post focused on a non-profit organization called CommonThreadz that gives money, clothes, and other items to children in developing nations.
