My Trip to Texas

My family and I recently visited Texas and were able to visit family. We stayed in Sugarland, but saw also Houston (but I think Sugarland is just a suburb of Houston). It was a lot of fun. I had only been to Texas once and didn't see that much, so it was nice to see more of it. We went to the Kemah Boardwalk a couple days after it had been thundering and storming. The weather near Galveston Bay, which I had wanted to visit for a long time, was nice, too. When you park off of the street, you are right next to the water. Here are some pictures from the trip. The picture with a lot of people is of my extended family. This was the first time that I had met my mom's aunt and cousins. I met my 2nd and 3rd cousins. I'm in the pink shirt. Check out that rollercoaster! My mom, sister, and I rode it. It was a lot of fun! The pictures by the water are at Kemah. Have a blessed day.

A Great Tool

I've been so busy with my new classes and recently started playing basketball. It seems like so many new things are happening and I get to experience them because of God's loving kindness. Reading new books, learning new things, and having fun with those that I love are just a few things that are happening right now. Even though I am a distance student at Regent, I don't feel like one. There is just so much connection with students during class. I discovered a tool called Pronto that really helps me connect with other students. I downloaded Pronto and it connects me with other classmates, so that when I have a question or want to chat, I can easily contact them. It is faster and easier than email (even though I still love email) and is good for dropping in a quick note to other students. It really gives me a sense of being in a class with other students. Have a blessed day.
